movie recommendation
Sep. 29th, 2005 05:37 pmFor any who haven't seen it, Tim Burton's latest flick, The Corpse Bride, is delightful. Tim Burton, more than any other director I know, manages to combine the horrific and the sweetest, most sappy romantic into one seamless package, with kick-ass musical numbers and deliciously wicked humor to boot. He'd be one hell of a date, I suspect.
Speaking of which, this is a good movie to take a sweetie to...that is, as long as your sweetie is the kind of person who likes Edward Gorey and isn't easily grossed out ;>

Anyone into vampires should like Gorey. He designed the sets for one of the stage versions of Dracula.
