I keep meaning to post this-- Freecycle.org. It's a local, grassroots email-based network, a simple way to hook up people who have stuff they want to get rid of with people who are looking for something that they need. It reduces resource usage by recycling stuff instead of always having to manufacture new stuff every time. It's all absolutely free, and free is the best price there is. Check it out.

Ah, freecycle. Yes, 'tis a wonderful thing. I've been on there for about 6 months, and while I don't use it much, it did help me get rid of a few things I was no longer using that were still perfectly fine. :) Good stuff.
