Spoken earlier today by my son, deciding to do something that he was scared to do:

"You have to open the door and let the scared out, so there's room for the fun to come in."

Yes.

But what if the scared is like my cat, and scrabbles at the door and wails and then *refuses* to go out because cats are like that? :D

*lol* I'm hoping my son will give me the answer to that one tomorrow.

Maybe if you keep the door open long enough, it'll eventually nose its way out on its own, or maybe that's where a pair of Big Kick-ass Boots comes in (useful to kick asses out the door ;>)

That is cute.

I am writing because my computer has been acting up and therefore I cannot find your email address. Aargh. Basically, I'm wondering about flying into Boston (much shorter trip for me - I can get a direct flight - plus cheaper, plus it'll get me in before 11pm). I can fly in around 5pmish or 8pmish and I'm thinking I can just get a ride back into Boston on Sunday with someone from class if you think 3 hours is enough on a snowy Sunday afternoon.

Can do, whatever works out for ya. Without weather (and as long as it's not actively snowing buckets, they get the roads cleared here posthaste) Boston is 2+ hours away, Manchester is about an hour or so, but the extra time can also be good chat time, assuming no moose! 3 hours in should be okay, if the weather is half-way decent.

Have you checked Southwest.com? I fly them whenever I can, usually cheapest, and almost always on-time, good service, etc. No non-stops, but they've got some one-stops from Oakland-Manchester, and the price is very low in some cases (as low as $109 each way).

You can reach me at chelidon at mythosphere dot com (or geomancy, that's probably the one you've got). I'll be back home next weekend, but if there's a good time to chat by phone, let me know and I'll give you a call. See you soon!

Voice of the Master

Mouth of Babes seems so often to be a euphemism for 'voice of the inner master' or 'instructions from Goddess' or something similar (as the Unitarian Universalist youth say "the deity of your choice or not").

Hoping you will post more from this source. Collecting them into a book could be priceless.

I'm loving my imagined feeling of being 'back in touch' by getting to read you on blog. Best love to you and your beautiful spouse from old SpiralHeart camper.

Hey there, it's so good to see you here!

So true! (and a big grin about the UU youth) :> Reya called "the Rebbi" from the moment she met him (she was part of the birth team).

I hope all is well with you -- it's nice to chat. And thanks for the kind words, I'll pass them on to C.
