Coffee is good for you!

RSNA: Coffee Boosts Short Term Memory

So, if you're doing something you might not want to remember later, drink decaf.

More caffeinated, or decaf? ;>

Of course, this gives me pure justification for the well-worn excuse, "oh, sorry, I don't remember that, you must have caught me before my morning cup of coffee...."

*bow* Live to serve ya. ;>

Reminds me of the friend of mine who back some years ago invented a drink called the Hell's Gate: 151 proof rum mixed with Jolt Cola. The worst thing about it was that if you had too many, you'd get drunk, but be completely unable to go to sleep or pass out. I'm guessing now that you might also actually remember everything you did and said in sharp detail, which could be excruciating as well. Yikes.

Ohhh, that sounds bad. It's dreadful enough being reminded . . .

mmm, yes, very bad. Moves the "I did what?" phase all the way back to wakeup time... ::eyesopen:: "Uh-oh." Not that I would know anything about any of that, this is just by learning through the mistakes of others, donchaknow.

Clearly, I have evil friends. I don't know how *I* happen to fall in with these wicked people, tho'...

I am deeply concerned as to what my memory would be like if I gave up coffee, if this is how I am *with* it... :S

Huh? I have no idea what you are talking about.

Now, where are my keys....?

Uh. I was going to say that you and I are going to be quite dangerous together, but:

A. I already know that to be true, and
B. "dangerous" in this sense should probably be split into:
1. hazardous pre-caffeination (the "do not operate heavy machinery" kind of hazardous)
2. totally different kind of hazardous post-caffeination (the "boingboingboing! *whoops* *tinklecrash*" kind)

Yeah, like that'll help.... *wild-eyed cackle*

The thing that gets me is that you know me, and you invited me anyway

*'nother wild-eyed cackle*

hmm yes I do know you and I know hol and should have thought about the two of you together harder....

nope it'll still make for a fabulous camp (assuming I remember the coffee) and I am so happy you'll be there, returns the sappy grin.

Yeah, i have this little problem similar to acute dementia when my caffeine level dips below my hemoglobin level. Coffee at three or more cups a day also prevents Alzheimer's (one of the only drugs known to do so). Go figure.

I'm a coffee achiever!!!

Then again i have to staple my clothes on due to the shaking, but it's a small price to pay...
