Um, yep. I find that as I get older, it's significantly easier to cry, indeed to access all the emotions without fear or blocking -- perhaps getting further away from childhood programming.
I've always been very sensitive and cry very easily. It's part of my comfort/self-comfort routine. But I also got teased for it, and in older life I find that women get accused of being emotionally manipulative when they cry -- a thought that never occurred to me. It usually takes me a long while to even be OK with someone seeing me cry.
