There is no contraflow open, and there is no movement on the highway. We left Zann's house at 3:15 a.m. and by 4:15 we had moved two - count 'em, two - exits on I-10 West. Not quite 2 miles. We are now back home. We will check things tomorrow and see what's what, but it's looking like we will have to stay here and ride it out.
Zann has an offer to go to her ex's; I will probably go to my mother's house, or to my friend Greg's house. I cannot stay in my apartment.
