In general, the new energy bill is an enormous taxpayer-sponsored giveaway to the big energy companies. But there are a few little token crumbs thrown towards alternative energy and consumers, and it's worth checking to see if any of them could benefit you. Not a whole lot of detail here, but this CNN article give some of the info. Looks like next year could be a good time to put in solar hot water or buy a hybrid car, if you were thinking of it...
