Late-night conversations and cheese feasting
local foods and ingredients
Happy splashing noises coming from the hot tub
in the morning, coming down to a room thoroughly strewn with drums, journals, musical instruments, and musicians
improv to die for
delicious co-teachers and friends
sharing our land with friends and beloved guests
chant-o-rama
my Ravishing Partner's incomparable kitchen witchery and hostessing superpowers
listening deeply to the songs of the land, and sharing our own offerings in turn
drum jams
10am path start time, and bottomless pots of coffee
beautiful clear blue skies and the woods bursting with Spring
the blessings and immanent presence of the gods, including our very own sacred selves
three more days of this

Date: 2008-04-25 07:01 pm (UTC)I have to admit that I'm not always sure about making noise out in nature, despite that brief sequence of word sketches I published in my LJ last week. [ In my mind, I call it Music in the Wood.] Sometimes it just seems that what I want is to be suffused with the silence of the forest. I picture myself as being alone at the time, of course. :)
