mmmm....tools....
Apr. 9th, 2008 04:08 pmWhen the weather turns to Spring, a man's fancy turns to gardening implements...
66 degrees today here at work, probably 60 or so in our little greenwoods valley, sunny and warm, yum! So far (knock on wood), the Spring melt has been slow and gentle, just perfect for the plants and no extreme stream erosion, or flooding for our friends in low-lying areas.
For my gardening friends, easydigging.com has a selection of well-made gardening tools at good prices -- seems to be decent steel, with long (5') hardwood handles available. I haven't put them through their paces yet, but appears to be nice stuff, and a good value. I just ordered and received a pick-mattock and a grub hoe (but my Lovely Housemates gave me merciless hell when I excitedly suggested that they come look at the really great grubbing hoe I'd just brought home... ;>)
