upcoming events
Apr. 9th, 2008 10:00 amSome upcoming events at the Casa Chaos Hermitage -- do c'mon by, we'd love to see ya, and these events coming up will be good, juicy work and also much big fun. Drop me a note or comment here if you'd like more information on any of these:

April 24-27: Musical Magickal Restorative: Exploring the Magic of Music and Dance, Song and Silence to Enter into a Dialogue with Divinity
Last year's event just totally rocked, and this year should be even better. Magickal work and play with song, chant, instrument, rhythm, movement, and much, much fun. Coming up fast! There are 3 spots left for last-minute attendees.
Full event announcement here
June 26-29: Feri Camp (FULL, new registration closed)
August 2: Ritual/Magickal Brewing and Vinting (tentative date)
One of the relatively rare Reclaiming events that is NOT alcohol-free. Just in time for Lammas (harvest of fruits and grains), Chelidon and Don will lead a hands-on workshop where we will be learning to create ritual mead, wine, ale, and other ritually charged and crafted natural sacraments (may also include ritual cakes/bread with Claudia Manifest) More details to follow.
October 16-19: Ritual/Theatrical Arts Restorative (tentative date)
Explore and work with the intersection of magick, theatre, ritual, and sacred drama. Morgana from Tejas and Robin Dolan from California, two long-time professional theatre directors and priestesses, along with Chelidon and Claudia Manifest, will facilitate a deeply-woven experiential exploration of the art, craft, and devotion of ritual theatrics and sacred drama. Most good rituals involve good theatre, and most if not all rituals could be more successful with increased skills, attention and focus upon the magickal-theatrical arts and aspects. This Restorative event will be of interest to anyone who desires to build and create effective, deeply-moving rituals or expand their own ritual arts tech and skills, as well as those involved in theatrical or performing arts in any capacity, but it is not necessary to be a "theatre person" to gain full benefit from the workshop.
