chelidonFor those who may be interested, the Winter Witchcamp in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area which had been in doubt due to major flooding of the site, has been confirmed for February 14-18 at a lovely, beautiful new site, located on an island close-by the Twin Cities. I'll attach the announcement below. The theme we will be working with this year is the story of Freya and Od, an ancient, juicy tale full of power, love, and mystery. And anytime you work with Freya, well...you just never know what's going to happen, but it is likely to be thoroughly delicious. Hope to see you there!

Freya's folk are crafty - we've got some good news about Winter Witchcamp
(February 14-18 2008)!
When last we checked, Winter Witchcamp was dealing with the flooding of the Whitewater
river, which made Whitewater State Park uninhabitable. The camp was without a home.
But an amazing outpouring of suggestions and support have gotten us a new
home; Camp Ichaghowan. It's a YMCA camp in Wisconsin, set on an island about
60 miles northeast of the Twin Cities.
We need registrations. Register now at winterwitchcamp.com/registration.shtml
The site is beautiful and we can have a wonderful Witchcamp there. It does cost
more, however.
We have had to raise the cost of camp by $15 dollars to $280. We have extended the
early registration deadline to November 30. After that it will go up to $310.
We also have a registration goal. Our inital goal is to have 30 registrations in
the next two weeks (by November 9th) and 50 registrations by the deadline.

via Paypal.
We regret having to raise the price of the camp and ask that people make their commitments
early. Any time we ask for more money, we limit the number of people who can attend
the camp, and we have worked hard to make this camp affordable. We do have a healthy
scholarship fund and will be able to offer 15 $100 scholarships this year.
