chelidonIn the last week or two:
build new 32' garage for tractor, install new 5-burner gas cooktop, renovate barn, install wood floor in barn (in progress), install new wood stove in barn, go to conference, see dear friends briefly, catch plane home, deal with cancelled and delayed flights (total travel time: 16 hours), drive directly to all-day rehearsal, memorize much Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, etc, try to stay awake for drive home. House has been hit by plague, everyone but I and one Lovely Housemate gets sick.
And in the midst, really enjoy the last leaves of fall, as the foliage goes from oranges and reds to yellows, russets, umber, browns, and then the mere ghosts of leaves...
