I just got done co-teaching another special-topic magickal class, this one in Austin on the art and craft of being a storyteller, writer and truth-teller. Helping people to speak their truths and tell their own unique stories (whether through writing, oral storytelling, song, drumming, or other forms of art) has become a core part of my own Work, and I feel so blessed to be able to do it. And, it has become clear to me that I cannot use that Work, rewarding as it is, as a way to avoid telling my own truths and tales.

The class went wonderfully, I adored teaching with
morrigandaughtr, someone who is a very talented fellow author and a kick-ass magickal practitioner/priestess, and as always with these kinds of classes, I learned at least as much as I taught. Purely delightful. With this following after the musical magickal arts restorative we did in April, I am loving being able to teach the work that I am really deeply passionate about, work that is all very much my own work. In the last couple of years, in addition to helping to facilitate other people's classes and doing some core classes and teacher-training, I've had the joy of teaching camps and classes on the wild hunt, shapeshifting, magickal tricksterism, musical/rhythmic energy-working, storytelling and the power of words, among others. Yum.
I feel so grateful to be doing this work. It deeply feeds me in so many, many ways.
