upcoming bardic circle and land projects

Saturday, July 21, after Katrina's kick-ass class, we'll be hosting a Bardic Circle. It's been a looong time since the last one, and people have been asking me when the next one would be, so here 'tis. Drop me a note if you'd like to attend and need more info, I'll be sending out an announcement soon.

Another thing I keep getting asked about is when we'll be holding a work weekend so people can come help with land projects. I am somewhat puzzled but very grateful that so many folks want to help out, and I'm more than happy for the help, so Sunday the 22nd we'll be concentrating on various projects (barn renovation, road repair, general gardening and mayhem). I will be glad to put a tool into the hands of anyone who wants to pitch in. It'll run from 9am-3pm -- I'd like to go longer, but that afternoon we're all heading out to the Circus! (4pm show, tickets may be still available) Again, drop me a note if you'd like more info about any of this, and I'd be glad to see ya at any of the weekend's various happenings!

Dude! That is our birthday weekend (SusieQ on Monday & me on Tuesday) so we've gotta be there. I'm hittin' 47 (the Black '47?) so maybe it'll be a Belfast Boilermaker kind of a night...

Of course, if it's too hot for Jameson's and Guinness, I can bring the Pink Gin Bar or maybe lylythe_strega can whip up some wicked sangria!

I'm still too broke to have a squeezebox for this one, but maybe for the next...

Ya know, I just know I shouldn't be encouraging this type of behavior, but I don't believe I've ever had a Boilermaker, Marc... (*suddenly hearing an ever-louder, descending-type whistling sound...*)
