Winter wonder...ow

Just got in from 13 hours of snow removal. Most of the time I love living in northern woods with 1/4 mile of road, but well, ow. Very tired and sore, rather afraid of what I'm going to feel like in the morning. Quite a storm, probably qualifies as a blizzard -- maybe 16-24 inches of snow all told, and the wind blew hard enought that the inside of the barn is completely covered with 1-2 inches of snow (I left the side doors open when I took the tractor out). Valentine's Day in the house is officially postponed until tomorrow night ;> Ow. Hot shower and sleep now.

Great minds and all...I was just getting the camera out a few minutes ago, figuring I'd take some pics when I walk F up to his school bus (school is opening an hour late today but is still on). Now I have to try to catch up from missing a day of work!

I was wondering how much you guys wound up with. We got a little snow, then about 4 inches of sleet, then a layer of freezing rain on top of it just to make everything nice and crunchy, and then a little bit more snow for good measure. It's icky out there this morning ...

ew, yuck. I definitely prefer just snow, even a lot of it, to ice and sleet. Bleah.

We definitely got at least 16 inches, maybe more like 20. Much snowage, fer sure...

Ah ha! Dang, I really like the way you think -- brilliant *and* beautiful (which shows that George, by marrying you, has more good sense than I ever gave him credit for ;>) And thank you for a perfect script! I shall hope it works exactly as planned...
