I was glad to read about this, too. It's a nice bonus for me that the judge in question was from Detroit. And, actually, it's not suprising: Detroiters still have a whole lotta anger around violations of civil rights.

Indeed, there are at least pockets of sanity, I hope they're enough. The appeal will be heard by a more conservative court, so we'll see...
