Al Gore was on Fresh Air last night on NPR, talking about his new movie that's out "An Inconvenient Truth" and other various things (ie: the current Emperor and his new clothes) - it's worth another listen methinks...... Yesterday in the paper was a bloke going on about how he didn't believe in Global Warming, and all I could think of was WTF more proof does he need?! The storms aren't enough? The disappearing snows on Mt. Fuji? Glaciers melting? Changes in the weather patterns? decade-long drought? I wonder what it would take, an actual visual of the holes in the ozone??? Ehrm......summer 12 months a year? perhaps a tweak in his meds?
Yes, they're showing that movie soon in our local independent movie house -- I'm going to go if I can swing it. It's not like I expect I'll hear anything new, but I'd like to lend my support...
AS to the naysayers, all I can say is that faith brooks no reason ;>
