sustainable living resources
May. 2nd, 2006 08:55 amI can't remember if I posted this previously or not, but it's a very good resource for all kinds of valuable info: http://herbfarmer.net/
Especially useful are the sections on simple living skills and sustainable building. Lots of info, lots of links to other good sites. Plenty enough to keep anyone busy for a loooong time.

Date: 2006-05-02 02:23 pm (UTC)I'm about to create a French potager garden in my side yard this spring. I'm so excited about combining herbs, vegetables and flowers!

Date: 2006-05-02 02:58 pm (UTC)I'd love to hear how your potager garden comes along. Some time this year I'm going to start building up some good-sized raised beds across from the house. Our land is so heavily wooded that we don't have a lot of level cleared ground, so unless I want to plow under the paddock (and I've considered it, but we're still figuring on having some variety of livestock in a few years...), I'm going to have to do a good bit of work to make good growing places for food crops. Keeps me busy ;>
