Yeah, not sure how someone could forget they had a kid in the car. Some guy in Frederick last year got in a heap o' trouble for forgetting his baby in a locked car in the summer time...
What's really wierd is when we are in the van without Ian, the car somehow feels empty... it's rare he doesn't go somewhere with us these days.
my gran left my aunt in her pram outside a shop, went home, made dinner with the slight nagging feeling she'd forgotten something - apparently it was 3 hours before she remembered and went back for the baby that 65 years ago was fortunately still there....
My aunt, with a total of seven children, occasionally leaves one someplace. I think it would be terrifying to have children ranging in age from 19 to 3, especially these days.
