I just uploaded some winter pics, to this page here, taken yesterday. Snow is pretty :>

And from a few weeks back, one of the 12th night/Yule prezzies from my sick and twisted Lovely Housemates: Go, Unicorn! (if only they had political figures...)

[EDIT: several people have already asked where they can get the Unicorn. You are all sick. Yes, that's a compliment, sort of. It's called the "Avenging Unicorn Playset," and aside from coming over to my house to play, you can find it here.]

thanks -- the unicorn is now sitting on my desk and makes me giggle, too, which probably means that neither one of us are "well." Oh well.

*sigh* Meanwhile, my four year old doesn't really remember what snow looks like, I wore short sleeves to work today with no sweater, and the highs are in the 60s. It just ain't nat'rel.

I was just reading today that maple sugaring season (when you tap the trees and collect the sap, specifically) is 2-4 weeks earlier than just 25-30 years ago. This year has been extraordinarily mild -- not that I mind too much, since this year (unlike future years) I'm buying a large proportion of the wood we're burning for heat, but really, what happened to winter? Yikes.

Thanks! And if you have them in electronic format, there are all kinds of spiffy tools (some of 'em free) that you can use. If they all need to be scanned in, color-corrected and so on, that'll definitely take a while, I don't know any way to speed that process up that doesn't cost a lot of $$.

But that said, I would *love* to see your pics online as well. Those I have seen have been gorgeous, and I can only wish that I could see more of them!

Snow!!! I am so looking forward to snow at wintercamp!!! We just don't really get snow around here, apart from light powdery showers that don't usually stick. I must be sick in the head being Italian (and from the south really) and loving snow :-)

*lol* Well, now, there's no accountin' for taste, donchaknow... (a little advance hint of Wintercamp, perhaps ;>) I probably already said this, but I'll miss seeing ya in Minnesota this year, but at least we'll get to touch base in July/August!
