"Real" conservatives, and my whereabouts
Dec. 27th, 2005 11:22 amThey're Republicans, yes, but I'm happy that my Yankee 'publicans are among the saner of the lot, and I'm happy to be helping to swing a swing-state. You can bet I write and call my congresscritters every chance I get:
N.H. Republicans drift from national party (subhed: Delegation breaks on major issues)
I'm still digging out from under back-to-back trips, holidays, and a veritable flood of tight-deadline freelance work, plus, oh, in-laws visiting, construction on the house (latest: basement dug, forms in place, footers and foundation poured, porch chopped in half to make room for excavation, pics to follow...), getting ready for upcoming weekend hosting many Feri folk, and a bunch of other stuff. December was going to be a quiet month? Ha. But the holidays have been absolutely splendid, and I am very, very thankful for the many blessings which surround me at every turn, most particularly the gifts of the soul which come from friends and family. A very joyous holiday season to you all, and may you know love, life, joy, beauty and delight in fabulous abundance!
