chelidonThe wood boiler is up and running, at last, and it is really amazing -- puts out huge amounts of heat, burns cleanly, and smells good, even. Casa Chaos is now totally off-oil for heat, yay, saving thousands of gallons of oil (not to mention thousands of dollars) each year. I'll post pics of the setup at some point, but will be offline for a while, hangin' with the lovely Tejas folks.
Next year involves, among other things, putting a microhydro generator in the stream. The way it's been raining here lately, we could power a small city ;>
