Those of you who are fans of the Lovecraftian mythos might particularly appreciate this.

From the, "interesting things you stumble across in a web search" category...

This time, I was actually looking for an affordable (less then $50) copy of John Crowley's out of print "Love & Sleep"

http://store.yahoo.com/shocklines/cthulsexmag23.html

Wow. It is by no means uncertain that one of my more esoteric Lovely Housemates doesn't have this already. ;>

Speaking of housemates, while our new Lovely Housemate has not yet arrived (later today), her stuff has. We now have a beautiful piano in the house -- soon to have a pianist, too :)

Yeah . . . um.

Did you find your copy of Love and Sleep? I could swear I have it in trade paperback, if you'd like it. (Must look to make sure not misremembering.)

Ooh. If you do have a copy, I would be very much in your debt. I've got Aegypt and Daemonomania on the way, just missing the 2nd volume.

Ah, but have you seen the Cthulhu Dog maker?

Fantastic -- thanks for looking! No rush if you have it, I haven't read Aegypt yet. Heck, you could probably give it to me at camp if you like!

I'm fascinated, both because I love Crowley's writing (Little, Big, etc), and because the plot description sounds very much like a novel I'd intended to write a number of years ago (and still may! :>)

Oh, my. We may need one of those.

One of housemates got me the Cthulhu Plush Slippers (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TYV12021) this past Yule. So whenever I want to pad aroudndthe house in my slippers, I have to stick both my feet into Cthulhu's gaping maw. Sick, but fun.

One beautiful trade paperback of Love and Sleep, right here on my coffee table!

Where would you like me to send it?
