chelidonSomething I wrote earlier today as a comment in a friend's LJ...I say this with all due respect for the power and majesty of the Fourth Estate, as a sometimes member:
The press corps these days at times behaves like an old, blind, deaf pit bull with one nostril plugged. Still, if you wave a bloody story directly under its nose long enough, eventually it bites down hard and shows there are still a few good teeth left.
Let's hope it doesn't let go.
