Wow, I've never known you guys to EVER have a dog! What inspired the puppy acquisition? He's beyond cute, and Claudia looks so happy with the puppy. :)
How adorable! I used to see these dogs in Bavaria....but mistakenly thought they were muttified Rottweilers! Now I can see that they must actually be forebearers OF the Rotts (which are a much newer breed). My vet has a Rott that is a throw-back, for she has a long wiry coat. They look wonderful!
Here is a little bit of oddness I thought I would pass your way. After the pooch pic was reduced, my f-page kept loading real wide. I closed out IE, and loaded it again. I re-loaded the page several times. Just now I temporarily deleted you from my friends' list. My f-page now loads at the normal width.
I have no idea why this would happen.

That is weird. The only thing I can think of is cacheing -- a shift-reload or clearing the cache might have helped. That, and IE is just flaky sometimes...
As one of the few who have actually *met* the Grif, let me say that he's orders of magnitude cuter in person (and sooooooooo soft...). He's going to be a *great* dog (& I ain't just talkin' size, here).
