I don't even know by which convoluted web-surfing path I ran across this lovely post today, in the desperate but thankfully vain attempt to miss various writing deadlines (I was a bit tardy, however, and if at some point you see no further posts from me on this LJ, you will know that a poor harried editor or production person finally snapped and managed to hunt me down and pummel me into death or disability with enormous piles of empty mega-sized bottles of Ibuprofin and Ultra-strength Tums)

If you are offended by profanity, lefty politics, or a frank discussion of abortion-rights issues, do not read this. If surfing a page containing profanity will get you in trouble at work, do not read this until you get home. But, otherwise, do read this. It will be worth your while.
