Today we're celebrating my partner Claudia's 40th birthday. Last weekend she got to fly down, visit and party with a flock of dear old friends down south (and some of you were there...), but today is the day itself, and a quieter, (extended) family and friends time at home. There will be tapas, delights for all the senses, and the celebration of a milestone, and of the huge blessings of life and health, for which I am immensely grateful. If we are so fortunate, exactly a month hence, we'll be celebrating 17 years of marriage, and a few weeks after that, 22 years together. I can't even begin to say what a gift that time has been, and how much I hope to be graced to share so much more of this amazing adventure.

May the tale go ever on. May we all have plenty of time with those we love. And may we love those we are with as best we can in the time we have.
