It's supposed to get down to 8 degrees tonight. Yes, Farenheit.

I shall now cease to complain about global warming. And bring in a bit more wood.

In all the busyness, you may have missed my post, but you would really really love a book I just finished, Jean Hegland's "Into the Forest."

Also I still have this Holdstock book set aside for you. Email me your address?

That is the one reason I'm glad my ass isn't in NH freezing off about right now!!! I do, however, miss ya'll.

Figure out some creative ways to keep warm up there, my northern kinsman!!!!

Ha! That'll teach you. :)

Meanwhile, what am I grateful for this Thanksgiving? 57 degree weather.

Or not...

I think we Midwesterners can take up the banner for anti-global warming while you northeasterners freeze for a while. Stay warm!!

Heh. Will do! (as [livejournal.com profile] storm_and_raven said above, all kinds of creative ways to keep warm -- which at this very moment consist of very fuzzy socks and a Maine Coon cat in my lap ;>) We're looking at 51 today and 44 tomorrow, but cold again at night, maybe 16 or 17. I guess Winter has come. With any luck, if this keeps up, maybe some snow, too. I would love to actually be able to ski in December again some time, or even in January for that matter. We barely had a white Christmas last year, which is utterly obscene for New England...

Oh, I'll be building up a good fire today, youbetcha! And it's supposed to get up to 51 today, we must've just gotten a wave of Canadian/Arctic air last night. Makes the hot tub look extra-good, tho'...
