My Good Witches,

Donald on a glorious late spring morning after a deeply refreshing rain
dressed in black shorts and navy blue sleeveless T-shirt preparing to pack for
my trip to our Greg and Philip’s handfasting outside of DC. It is some kind of
transformative magic indeed that I go to officiate. Two queer men getting
married in the Capitol is the kind of magic that cannot but shake and shatter the
spells of hatred that are now trying to be cast across the US constitution.

I ask this of you. Would you please focus your prayers for the next bit
of time, in such a way as to not only awaken the people, but to stir them into
living open lives of love and compassion rooted deeply in beauty, balance and
delight.

Please pass this on to anyone whom you think would be interested.



Let the scales fall from our eyes.

Let the chains fall from our hearts.

Let the plugs fall from our ears.

Let the padding fall from our skin.

Let us breath the airs of awakening.

Let us taste the drafts of compassion.

Let us declare that we are a glorious people.

Who dare to sing our songs outloud and unashamed.



We are the Queer children of the Good Green Earth,

Born into beauty,

Born into healing,

Born into spirit.



Only a fool would rip such gifts
From this living sacred planet.

Only a coward would burn such gifts
On the stakes of our own terror.

Only a desperate soul would deny these gifts,
Our very own children.


Beware.

The love between Queer Witches
Can never be legislated away.

Buried alive,
It will spring forth nine fold
Transforming all that live under sun and star.

Put to the flame,
It will permiate each breath you take.

Drowned,
It’s juice will fill every fruit of this world.

Beware.

Can never be destroyed.



Let us taste the drafts of compassion.

Let us declare that we are a glorious people.

Let us celebrate the wonder of the worlds together.
