For my brewing friends, Grape and Granary has hops rhizomes for sale in a bunch of different varieties: http://www.thegrape.net/browse.cfm/2,1207.html
[EDIT: I just ordered my favorite four kinds of hops for brewing beer and ale. I think this year I'm going to concentrate on growing hops, berries and planting some more trees, and starting to build the raised beds for next year's veggies. There's just too much going on to worry about starting food crops this year. Probably Claudia or Kelly will do kitchen herbs and some tomatos. peppers, etc out front, tho']
Ben & Jerry's has a new flavor out, and it's one of their best ever, in taste as well as name. Dubbed "Vermonty Python", my Lovely Housemate
lylythe_strega brought a pint home the other night and three of us promptly devoured it in one fell swoop. So very yum. If you find it, try it, you'll be glad you did. It occurs to me that it would make a fantastic ice cream drink, but that's because I'm a very naughty bunny with big pointy teeth. Incidentally, I never knew there have been official lines of Monty Python food and drink. I can probably pass on the special edition Spam, but now, that Cardinal Fang wine...
You know you're in for an interesting day when you step on a sheet of thin ice and it splits in a perfect 7-pointed star. No doubt some sort of cosmic metaphor there for someone wiser than I.
