So myself and one of my teaching colleagues (the other man on the team, hmm, sex-linked tardiness...) were tail-end charleys in getting our bios to the organizer of the Spring Arts Restorative at our place in April. That organizer is my ravishing partner, by the way. So to light a fire under our butts, she wrote bios for us. Honestly, I like hers better. And never, ever, screw with this woman, for reasons that should be patently obvious ;>

-------
So I've been trying to get Crow and Chelidon to give me their bios so I can send out info on the April musical weekend for months now. Here is my latest try--do you like it? **CCH

OK Crow and Chelidon, time to write a little bitty bios about yourselves or I'm going to start making stuff up.

Crow- A native of Belgium, Crow starred in the European theatre version of Rocky Horror Picture show as Frankenfurter and in other famous transvestite plays for most of his twenties. He then went on to a brief but brilliant career as second violinist with the London Philharmonic until an unfortunate event involving the Prince of Wales, a corset, and some underage fans was caught on camera and caused him to flee the country and change his name. Masquerading as a simple folk fiddler in the backwaters of Virginia for the last 10 years, he has none the less managed to make a small fortune off his "call in for your psychic reading and musical attunement" 1-900 hotline. Always one step ahead of the Feds, we are very happy to welcome Crow into our Circle for your magical and musical enlightenment.

Chelidon- Nationally know for his best selling books "How to Succeed as a Druid Without Really Trying" , "101 Things To Do To Spice Up a Boring Ritual" and "Pointy Ears: My Tragic Life as a Fairy Prince" , Lord Chelidhearnnnneeee of the Sacred Silvertongue has deigned to grace us with his presence during this Sylvan gathering. His dulcet tones, magic hands, and gift of spreading the Blarney far and wide will be shared gladly with all participants possessing major credit cards and the Will , Desire, and Intent to use them freely.

Are these OK boys, or would you prefer to write your own?

**BB & and love and kisses**
C

Tee hee... wow - I wasn't able to make this event before, but now that I've read your bio, I'll start walking now to see if I can make it in time!

That made my night. Thank you for spreading the Blarney.

I would've thrown in something about household appliances, because anyone who can use a toaster without blowing it up is truly a god in my opinion.

Very funny.

But I have to say, I think I have a slightly different definition for 'sex-linked tardiness' in which sex is less equated with y chromosomes . . .

*grin* My pleasure! Speaking of walking long distances, we simply have *got* to find a way to get our paths to cross this year at some point, I miss seeing ya!

*lol* How about fixing a broken toaster? Speaking of which, if you have one, save it up for me, the trip's a go -- we'll have to chat about details, but I'll be out for some time around the 2nd weekend in Feb.

I can imagine, organizers get very cranky after a while, totally unreasonable, of course.... ;> Seriously, I do have a new bio for the Arts Restorative, but no need to swap it out, mainly it goes into a wee bit more detail about some of my musical experience to kick the creds, as my friend Katrina would say. I dunno, though, I like C's version, I may have to start using it!

Yeah, it's quite true, there simply must be a "poor time-sense gene" on both chromosomes... giving rise to the title, "s/he who must be delayed..." ;>

Let me be blunt, sir: to me, 'sex related tardiness' has nothing to do with chromosomes of any sort, but necessarily involves fooling around.

Thankfully, I'm usually punctual to a fault, so this is rarely an issue. ;-)

Ditto. I'm not sure how or when, but it definitely has to happen. Maybe I'll just wander around the country with my djembe in tow, hoping that I'll accidentally bump into you at some point. :)
